What You'll Do
- Load raw materials and operate punch press equipment safely and efficiently
- Set up and run presses to meet production and quality standards
- Perform first piece, in process, and final quality inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production routings
- Use measuring and inspection equipment accurately
- Maintain production standards while following all safety and workmanship procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- Experience operating 30 to 100 ton open back punch single die manual presses preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints and production drawings
- Ability to utilize measuring and inspection equipment
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical job duties
- Ability to pass a post offer background check, drug test, and physical
