What You'll Do
- Operate precision grinding equipment to achieve required thickness, flatness, parallelism, and surface finish specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, symbols, specifications, and dimensional requirements
- Perform grinding procedures according to product blueprints and production requirements
- Use inspection and measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and check gauges
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and production standards
- Follow safe manufacturing and material handling practices
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating production metal grinding equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, prints, and production routings
- Ability to utilize measuring and inspection equipment accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical job duties
- Ability to pass a post offer background check, drug test, and physical
