Job Summary
This is a part-time 1099 position. Hours will be 11pm-3am with opportunities for 4 hour shifts during the week. We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Security Officer to safeguard our facilities, assets, and personnel. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through surveillance, access control, and incident response. Your leadership and keen eye for detail will ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, creating a safe space for everyone on site. Duties
- Monitor security cameras and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Control access points by verifying identities and issuing passes to authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Write detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and security activities accurately and clearly
- Enforce security policies and procedures consistently across the facility
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to document incidents precisely and professionally
- Knowledge of performing background checks and screening procedures effectively
- Certified in CPR and first aid (preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage team members and coordinate security efforts
- Familiarity with security systems, CCTV operations, and surveillance technology
- Ability to stay alert for extended periods while maintaining focus on safety protocols
