This is a part time/contract 1099 on-site role for a Security Officer located in Bethlehem, PA. Hours will vary between day shift and night shift. Compensation is between $23-$35 per hour. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients and their properties. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring surveillance systems, conducting routine patrols, controlling access to assigned sites, reporting incidents, and responding promptly to security breaches or emergencies. The Security Officer will also collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company security protocols and client requirements.
Experience
- Experience in Security operations, monitoring surveillance systems, and conducting routine patrols
- Ability to perform Risk Assessment and Incident Response tasks with attention to detail
- Excellent Communication and Report Writing skills for documenting and reporting incidents effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and interact respectfully with diverse groups of people
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security is a plus
- Physical fitness and the ability to respond calmly and promptly in emergency situations
- Possession of a valid Drivers license and willingness to undergo background screening
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or safety are an advantage
Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
