What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Intern position at Spirit Works AI?
At Spirit Works AI, we bridge the gap between complex healthcare challenges and intelligent technology. Our mission is to empower medical organizations—specifically orthopedic practices—to recover lost revenue by solving the "Prior Authorization" and "Medical Denials" crisis. Using cutting-edge AI-driven automations and robust CRM systems, we help surgeons and clinics focus on patient care while our systems ensure they are actually paid for the work they do.
We are seeking a motivated, tech-savvy Marketing Intern to join our growth team. This is a high-impact role where you will be at the front lines of a niche healthcare market. You will not just be "posting on social media"—you will be learning how to build and manage a sophisticated "back-end" marketing engine using Go High Level (GHL).
The primary focus of this role is to identify orthopedic organizations struggling with administrative denials and move them through a "cold-to-warm" lead pipeline.
- CRM Management (Go High Level): Assist in managing the core GHL ecosystem, including setting up automated workflows, managing pipelines, and ensuring lead data is clean and actionable.
- Social Media Management: Create and schedule strategic content across LinkedIn and other platforms that speaks directly to the pain points of orthopedic surgeons and practice managers.
- Strategic Outreach: Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (Email, LinkedIn, and potentially Cold Loom/Video messages) to introduce our revenue recovery solutions.
- Lead Conversion: Nurture cold leads through automated and manual follow-ups to convert them into warm discovery calls.
- Market Research: Identify top-tier orthopedic practices and "Pain Point" trends in medical billing to tailor our messaging.
- GHL Mastery: You will leave this internship with a working knowledge of Go High Level, one of the most powerful and in-demand marketing automation tools in the world.
- HealthTech Expertise: Deep-dive into the "Business of Medicine," specifically how AI is solving the multibillion-dollar medical denial problem.
- The Full Sales Cycle: Experience the transition from initial outreach to a qualified sales opportunity.
- Tech-Focused: You aren't afraid of software. You enjoy "tinkering" with tools and automations.
- Communication Skills: You can write professional, persuasive copy that sounds like a partner, not a "spammer."
- Interest in Healthcare/AI: A genuine interest in how technology can improve the medical field.
- Self-Starter: As a non-paid role, we are looking for someone who is hungry for experience and can work independently.
- Experience (Optional): Previous experience with Canva, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or any CRM is a plus but not required.
While this is a non-paid internship, the value lies in the portfolio-building and skill acquisition. You will be working directly with the founders of an AI startup, gaining "under the hood" access to how a tech company scales. We are happy to provide LinkedIn recommendations, university credit (if applicable), and a glowing reference for future employers.
