Job Description
Spirit’s in Defense Security, Inc. is seeking a professional, dependable, and licensed Armed Security Officer to provide overnight security services at a Chick-fil-A location in Palmdale, California. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible security presence, deter criminal activity, and ensure the safety of employees, customers, and property.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of the property and surrounding areas.
- Monitor for suspicious activity and security concerns.
- Maintain a professional and courteous presence at all times.
- Complete incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and security incidents.
- Enforce client policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card.
- Valid California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit.
- Reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to not call off during 90 day probation period.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior armed security experience.
- Experience working retail, restaurant, or commercial property security assignments.
- Military or law enforcement background (not required).
