Head Varsity Volleyball Coach

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Head Volleyball Coach to lead and develop our volleyball program, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student-athletes both on and off the court.

Candidates are encouraged to contact Rachel Fisher, rfisher@spirit-lake.k12.ia.us, Athletic Director, with questions related to this position and/or to inquire with the District office about potential positions that could accompany this coaching opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow the Volleyball program.
• Develop student-athletes’ skills, teamwork, and confidence.
• Implement creative strategies to maximize performance during matches.
• Build meaningful relationships that help players thrive as athletes and individuals.
• Be part of a school culture that values sportsmanship, leadership, and academic success.

Requirements:

• Experience working with a volleyball program, preferably in a head coach or assistant coach role.
• Involvement with the youth and youth coaches to foster individual player and team development for creation of a complete district boys basketball program.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage all aspects of a high school sports program.
• Current coaching authorization
