Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless appearance
- Handle trash removal and recycling duties efficiently to keep the environment tidy and organized
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Assist with light custodial tasks such as window washing, dusting, and surface sanitizing
- Support industrial cleaning projects when required, including high-pressure washing or specialized cleaning tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet health and safety standards while maintaining high cleanliness standards
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize daily tasks effectively
