General Aviation Line Service Position

Entry-level, Aviation Line Service positions are open at the Greensboro GA Regional Airport.
This is your opportunity to get in on the ground floor in the field of aviation. You will be responsible for servicing large jet and small prop aircraft.
No experience is necessary. You will be trained and provided company paid uniforms.
Below are some of the responsibilities of this position:
- Direct arriving and departing aircraft from the airside ramp.
- Assist passengers and pilots with loading and unloading of aircraft
- Properly chock and tie down aircraft on ramp
- Operate large, 5000 gal. Jet Fuel Trucks to aircraft side for fueling
- Safely dispense/pump fuel into aircraft
- Operate specialized aircraft towing equipment to reposition and park aircraft
- Operate a variety of ground support equipment for aircraft
- Perform fuel storage tank inspections and daily check lists
- Perform airport safety checks
- Assist in the maintenance of terminal building, aircraft hangers and airport grounds.
The ideal applicant will possess a mechanical aptitude, be comfortable and competent operating large, heavy ground equipment. Also, you must have excellent customer service skills. In many cases, you will be the first person that the pilots/passengers meet when they land at the airport.
Full time and part time positions are available. The airport is generally open from dawn to dusk, 7 days a week. Starting compensation is $15.00 to $19.00 per hour with some overtime and tips available.
Applicants must be drug free, successfully pass a background check, have a valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean driving record and be free of any felony or misdemeanor charges or convictions.
