Job Title: Production Packer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor 1–2 production lines safely and efficiently according to company procedures and training.
- Form and assemble boxes for packaging prior to the start of each run.
- Pack finished bags into boxes while maintaining speed and accuracy.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Label, seal, and palletize finished boxes as required.
- Inspect bags and packaging for defects and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and required use of PPE.
- Communicate equipment malfunctions, production delays, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Accurately complete all required production forms and documentation.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for 12-hour shifts.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule (one month of days, one month of nights).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus, but not required.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are essential.
- Willingness to learn — full training will be provided.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing/production setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as provided.
Compensation
- Hourly Wage: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
