Job Overview:We’re hiring a Strategic Finance Analyst to support company-wide financial modeling, analysis, and strategic decision-making. This role is highly cross-functional, working with Finance, Sales, Product, and Operations to turn data into clear insights and help build the materials used for major internal and external conversations.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Modeling & Analytics
- Build and maintain detailed financial and operational models.
- Analyze transaction-level and customer-level data to identify trends and inform strategy.
- Support pricing, forecasting, and scenario planning.
Strategic & Merchant Support
- Create clean, data-backed materials for customer pitches and partner discussions.
- Translate complex economic concepts into clear narratives for decks and memos.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions and align messaging.
Fundraising & Investor Support
- Assist in preparing investor updates, financial exhibits, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across all materials shared with investors and senior leadership.
Internal Reporting & Insights
- Produce weekly and monthly reporting for leadership.
- Handle ad-hoc deep dives on core metrics and strategic questions.
- Surface insights around growth, risk, and consumer behavior.
Qualifications:
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; comfort working with large datasets.
- Solid understanding of core accounting concepts (revenue recognition, cost structure, financial statements).
- Strong written communication and deck-building ability.
- Comfortable “wearing many hats”.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
