What you’ll do:
Provide physical therapy in an outpatient surgical center, serving patients who had knee and hip procedures.
Responsinilties/Duties:
Size and Fit post op patients with the appropriate assistive device, instruct in and establish independent functional mobility, gait on level and stairs, commode and car transfers, and instruct in an established home exercise program.

Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.

New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior physical therapy experience is a plus. Medical office experience preferred.

Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts.

Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

Ability to identify and implement components of the physical therapy process.

Identify learning needs and teach patients and families.

Ability to communicate (verbal and written) and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals.

Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.

Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.

Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.

Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance regulations, policies, procedures and other regulatory policies.

Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions.
