Duties
- Coordinate and oversee party activities, games, and entertainment to ensure guests are engaged and having fun
- Manage guest interactions with excellent customer service, addressing questions and ensuring satisfaction throughout the event
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems for ticketing, food sales, or merchandise purchases
- Assist with setup and cleanup of event spaces, including manual handling of equipment and supplies
- Enforce safety protocols diligently, including first aid and CPR procedures when necessary to maintain a secure environment
- Resolve conflicts promptly and professionally to maintain a positive atmosphere for all attendees
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations and venue policies during outdoor or indoor events
Qualifications
- Experience in events management or hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
- First aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Previous experience working with children or in food service enhances your suitability for this role
- Familiarity with retail sales, cash handling, POS systems, and processing transactions accurately
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely during setup or cleanup activities
- Excellent customer service skills paired with confident public speaking abilities
- Outdoor work experience or resort environment familiarity is a plus
- Theater experience or public speaking skills can contribute to engaging guest interactions
