Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this individual will be responsible for operating and setting up production equipment, monitoring performance to ensure efficiency and quality, and making basic adjustments or troubleshooting minor issues. The role includes inspecting finished products, maintaining accurate production records, following safety procedures and schedules, keeping the work area clean, and adhering to directions from supervisors and team leads.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate machinery according to production standards, work instructions, and safety procedures
* Set up and adjust equipment for production runs (e.g., loading materials, setting speeds, calibrating controls)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and reading skills to follow work instructions and record data
- Ability to operate or learn to operate production machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Good communication skills and ability to follow supervisor directions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (typically up to 25–50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks
- Flexibility to work overtime, and weekends as needed
