Duties
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick and verify customer orders.
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Perform order fulfillment tasks including picking, packing, stocking, and labeling products according to specified procedures.
- Ensure proper packaging of items to prevent damage during transit while adhering to quality control standards.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by loading outbound shipments and verifying inbound deliveries against purchase orders.
- Maintain organized storage areas, stock levels, and inventory records through effective warehouse distribution practices.
- Conduct regular quality checks on products, ensure heavy lifting safety protocols are followed, and report any discrepancies or damages promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, or inventory management.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order processing.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, mechanical lifts, and pallet jacks safely.
- Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for quality control and accurate order fulfillment.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload items regularly throughout shifts.
