Warehouse Loader

About This Opportunity 

This is a hands on warehouse and production role at an established glass and aluminum manufacturing facility on Antioch Pike in Antioch, TN (Nashville area). You will load and unload trucks, stage and transport materials, and prepare product for shipment. The assignment is a 4 to 10 week contract with a Monday through Friday, day shift schedule (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM). Overtime is available as needed, and occasional weekend shifts may be required. 

Reliable personal transportation is required. The facility is located on Antioch Pike, Antioch, TN 37013.  

If you are comfortable working with your hands and moving materials in a fast paced manufacturing environment, this is a strong fit. 

What You Will Do 

• Load and unload trucks — Pack, stack, and stage product in appropriate areas. Ensure trucks are loaded according to DOT Safety Standards. 

• Stage and transport materials — Move aluminum and other materials from one position or location to another to keep the production process moving. Stage material daily prior to loading trucks. 

• Wrap and protect product for shipment — Use plastic wrap and cardboard to box, wrap, and secure material. Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to products. 

• Cut material to size — Operate a saw to cut material per the work order. Measure product using a tape measure to ensure it meets specifications. 

• Follow work instructions and documentation — Read labels to expedite the production process. Understand and communicate paperwork and labels, including picking lists. 

• Inspect finished product — Perform quality inspections on product before shipment. Notify your supervisor immediately of any defects or abnormalities. 

• Operate equipment safely — Use operating equipment and manually maneuver equipment as required. Follow all safety procedures and regulations at all times. 

What You Bring 

Required: 

• Ability to lift 75 lbs throughout your shift as needed — this is a physically demanding role and that requirement is real. 

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately — you will measure product and verify specifications every day. 

• Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions — labels, picking lists, and work orders are part of the daily workflow. 

• Flexible work availability — schedule is typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekend shifts. 

• Reliable personal transportation — you must be able to get yourself to Antioch Pike, Antioch, TN 37013 on time, every day. 

• Strong teamwork and safe work habits — both are essential functions of this role, not suggestions. 

Preferred (not required): 

• Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience — any production, warehouse, or industrial setting counts.
