Position Objectives and Responsibilities
- Uses mowers, weed whackers/trimmers and rakes to maintain yards
- Uses forklifts and bucket loaders to load and unload purchase products and materials.
- Stock pallets of material into their designated areas, indoors and outdoors, individually or within a group.
- Cut and separate material, operate forklift, bobcat, etc, lift heavy objects, etc.
- Maintains an organized construction yard at all times
- Organizes large and small tools
Position Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent required
- 3 years of experience working in a construction yard
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Works well as a team-player and can pivot to an independent worker
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, loading, offloading of supplies, tools, equipment up to 50 pounds or heavier
- Able to pass a thorough background check and drug screening
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
