Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lakeland, FL for a Physical Therapy Assistant. The Physical Therapy Assistant will support physical therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed physical therapists, assist patients in rehabilitation exercises, and monitor progress to ensure effective outcomes. The role involves preparing therapy equipment, maintaining patient records, and fostering a positive and compassionate experience for all patients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation practices
- Experience in Patient Care and Occupational Therapy
- Strong Communication skills for interacting empathetically with patients and team members
- Ability to work effectively under supervision and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
- State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant is required
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, range of motion, and therapeutic exercises
- CPR or First Aid certification is a plus
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is beneficial
