The Patient Care Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bossier City, LA. This role includes coordinating patient care services, scheduling appointments, managing patient communications, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Patient Care Coordinator will engage with patients to ensure a smooth and positive experience, facilitate communications with medical staff, and provide administrative support as needed. - Experience in Appointment Scheduling and proficiency in coordinating patient appointments efficiently
- Proven skills in Phone Etiquette and maintaining professional and compassionate communication with patients
- Knowledge and experience in Care Coordination and managing patient care processes
- Familiarity with Medical Terminology and healthcare-specific documentation
- Commitment to providing excellent Patient Care with a patient-first approach
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or relevant coursework in healthcare administration or patient care are a plus
