We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first or last point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within our medical office, requiring familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answering calls promptly and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently while maintaining the clinic's calendar.
- Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with documentation review, including care plans and intake forms.
- Utilize EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks
- Handle clerical tasks including filing, typing, and data entry with attention to detail.
- Ensure a clean and organized desk area to enhance the patient experience.
- Scheduling follow up appointments, faxing referrals, and scanning patient documents into correct areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is required.
- Proficiency in EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; typing proficiency is required.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff.

- Familiar with scanning, chart-prep, faxing, and scheduling patients.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
