We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Medical Receptionist with fluency in Chinese to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves providing exceptional front-desk support, managing patient interactions, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls; schedule, confirm, and follow up on patient appointments
- Verify patient insurance and obtain authorizations for procedures
- Register new patients and maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems
- Perform administrative tasks: filing, faxing, scanning, typing letters, etc.
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns or questions
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA
- Support clinical and administrative staff as needed
- Requirements
- Bilingual in Chinese and English required
- Prior experience as a medical assistant, receptionist, or medical scribe preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., MDLand) is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Professional, punctual, and reliable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
- Work Location: In person
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a healthcare front desk role within a clinical setting is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English is required;
- ability to communicate effectively in both languages is essential.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as MDland.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding (ICD-10/ICD-9/CPT), insurance verification, and Medicare processes.

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
