Seeking a part-time or full-time Licensed Physician Assistant (RPA-C) or Nurse Practitioner to work in a multidisciplinary pain clinic supervised by a physician at one location in Flushing, Queens. We will accept recent graduates or an experienced Physician Assistant or NP preferably with some musculoskeletal experience to perform initial evaluations, follow-up visits, and ultrasound-guided injections. Training will be provided for ultrasound-guided injections. No opioid medication management. Candidates must be licensed to practice in New York State and bilingual in Chinese and English. Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Clinical Assessments: Conduct comprehensive orthopedic, neurological, and pain-focused physical examinations; obtain precise patient histories and symptom logs.
- Procedure Performance (Under Supervision): Perform and assist with standard in-office therapeutic procedures, including joint injections (knee, shoulder, hip), trigger point injections, and bursa injections under direct or indirect physician supervision.
- Diagnostic Collaboration: Order and interpret relevant diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to formulate comprehensive pain management plans.
- Patient Education & Navigation: Act as a primary cultural and linguistic bridge for Chinese-speaking patients, explaining complex diagnostic results, procedure expectations, and medication safety guidelines.
This position requires a Pain Management Physician Assistant who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a knowledge of pain management techniques, and the ability to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Pay: $140,000.00 - $185,199.13 per year
