Position Overview
Spindrift Investments and Jan Funding are seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Loan Operations Analyst to support a fast-paced private lending environment.
This role is critical to maintaining the accuracy, speed, and integrity of our end-to-end loan pipeline and servicing. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and takes ownership of their work from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process loan documentation with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintain complete and compliant loan files across all stages of the lifecycle
- Track loan pipeline activity and update internal systems in real time
- Communicate with borrowers, attorneys, lenders, and third parties to obtain required documentation
- Provide front-line support to walk-in borrowers with professionalism and clarity
- Perform data entry and validate loan information for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct basic financial calculations (loan amounts, interest, payments)
- Support post-closing processes including document collection and file finalization
- Track borrower payments and monitor loan performance across the portfolio
- Issue late payment notices, default notices, and maturity notices in accordance with company policies and timelines
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and escalate issues as needed
- Track and maintain insurance coverage for all active loans, ensuring policies remain current and compliant
- Monitor and track real estate tax payments, confirming timely payment and identifying delinquencies
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in financial services, or operations roles preferred
- Experience in lending, legal, or real estate environments is a strong plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to learn and navigate internal systems quickly
- Spanish language skills are a plus
