Our Dishwashers and Prep Cooks play a crucial role in supporting the Heart of House team and keeping the kitchen running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
Dishwasher:
- Efficiently clean, sanitize, and organize all dishes, utensils, and cookware.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dish station at all times.
- Follow all sanitation and health guidelines.
- Assist with cleaning projects in other areas of the restaurant as needed.
- Support team members to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.
Prep Cook:
- Roll out pizza dough using the dough machine while following Spinato’s size and portion specifications.
- Chop vegetables, open canned items, and store food properly in labeled, dated containers.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized prep station in accordance with Spinato’s standards.
- Assist with additional prep tasks as directed by kitchen leadership.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure readiness for service.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Food Handler’s Card (required).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to lift, stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to/over 50 lbs.
