Spinal Solutions Health & Wellness is a growing, patient-focused chiropractic and rehabilitation clinic in St. Augustine, Florida. We combine chiropractic care, therapeutic exercise, spinal decompression, shockwave therapy, manual therapy, and other advanced treatment technologies to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and achieve long-term results.
We are looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and personable Chiropractic Rehab Assistant /Manual Therapy/ Therapy Technician with a background in physical therapy, rehabilitation, exercise science, athletic training, or a related field.
This is an active, hands-on position for someone who enjoys working directly with patients and helping them improve their physical function.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises, stretching, mobility work, and corrective exercise programs.
- Assist with manual therapy and soft tissue techniques within applicable training, supervision, and licensing requirements.
- Set up, administer, and monitor treatment modalities, including spinal decompression, shockwave therapy, red light therapy, electrical stimulation, and vibration therapy, as permitted by law and clinic protocols.
- Assist doctors with patient examinations, re-evaluations, and treatment preparation.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate relevant findings or concerns to the treating doctor.
- Educate patients on proper exercise technique, posture, and movement mechanics under the doctor's direction.
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and a clean, organized clinical environment.
- Help maintain efficient patient flow while providing a positive patient experience.
Ideal Candidate
We are especially interested in candidates with experience as a:
- Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Physical Therapy Technician or Rehabilitation Aide
- Manual Therapist
- Chiropractic Assistant
- Exercise Physiologist or Exercise Science Graduate
- Athletic Trainer or Sports Rehabilitation Assistant
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic exercise.
- Experience guiding patients through rehabilitation or corrective exercise programs.
- Familiarity with soft tissue and manual therapy techniques.
- Comfortable working with patients experiencing musculoskeletal pain, injuries, or movement limitations.
- Willingness to learn new treatment technologies and clinical protocols.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with doctors and other team members.
