About the Role:
As an ICST Rehabilitation Specialist in our Social Assistance industry, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals with disabilities achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized rehabilitation plans, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being. Your ultimate goal will be to help clients achieve greater independence and integration into their communities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Science or related field
- Experience working with individuals with dual diagnosis and or mental health diagnosis
- Covid Vaccination
- Driver's License
- Registered and Insured Vehicle to travel to different locations: Mileage Reimbursement
- Must be available to attend the 2.5 week hourly paid-training program during the hours of 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualized rehabilitation plans
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as physicians and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' progress and treatment plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills:
As an ICST Rehabilitation Specialist, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with other professionals. You will also draw on your expertise in rehabilitation science and evidence-based practices to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in providing comprehensive care to clients.
