We are seeking qualified applicants to build a deployment-ready cadre, prepared to support response operations as opportunities arise. Applicants must possess a FEMA Entry on Duty (EOD).
Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic analyses to enhance disaster response and recovery programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize program delivery and improve operational efficiencies.
- Analyze FEMA data to identify trends and develop actionable recommendations for program improvement.
- Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with FEMA program requirements.
- Prepare and present determination memorandums and appeals for disaster recovery projects.
- Document findings and maintain records in FEMA's Grants Portal.
- Develop and implement policies to improve disaster response effectiveness.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in disaster fieldwork or a related field of expertise; or
IS-1000 : Public Assistance Program and Eligibility
