Job Description:
SPIKES is a privately held venture developing a flagship concept in Manhattan at the intersection of performance, motorsport-adjacent culture, and social impact. The project is structured for expansion into additional gateway markets across Asia following flagship proof of concept.
We are seeking a Founding Investor to join as a principal capital partner in the flagship development. This is a direct investment position with governance involvement, not an advisory or board-observer mandate. The Founding Investor will participate actively in structuring, underwriting, and strategic decision-making from project inception through stabilization and scale.
This opportunity is suited to experienced investors and operators who have executed in urban, experience-driven real estate and who are looking for early-stage principal exposure to a differentiated physical concept with institutional scale potential.
Responsibilities:
Commit principal capital to the flagship development in a structured investment vehicle.
Participate in financial structuring, underwriting, and investment committee decisions.
Contribute to site selection, lease strategy, and market positioning alongside the founding team.
Engage with the capital formation process for the flagship and subsequent locations, including introductions to co-investors, lenders, and institutional capital where applicable.
Serve in a defined governance role within the project's operating and investment structure.
Qualifications:
Track record of principal-level investment or execution in urban, experience-driven assets including hospitality, fitness, wellness, clubs, or mixed-use concepts.
Capacity to commit meaningful capital at an early-stage development level, either personally or through an established investment vehicle.
Familiarity with Manhattan commercial real estate including leasing structures, zoning, and landlord dynamics.
Background in real estate private equity, family office investing, or direct deal execution.
Established relationships across New York capital markets, lending institutions, or co-investment networks.
