About the Role:

The Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator at Spices USA Inc plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and movement of inventory within the warehouse facility. This position is responsible for operating forklifts safely and effectively to load, unload, and transport goods, contributing directly to the smooth flow of supply chain operations. The role demands meticulous attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all products are stored in compliance with safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with warehouse team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines. Ultimately, this position supports the company’s commitment to timely delivery and customer satisfaction by maintaining an organized and productive warehouse environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, documents, and record inventory data.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification or license.
• Previous experience working in a food or spice distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and warehouse best practices.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends or overtime as needed.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of received goods against shipping documents.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ensure that product is received, stored, processed and shipped in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock movements using warehouse management systems.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders, prepare shipments, and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA safety regulations to minimize workplace hazards.
• Upkeep warehouse clean and organized.
