Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chattanooga, TN, for a Litigation Associate. Responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload, conducting in-depth legal research, drafting and filing motions, attending depositions, and representing clients in court proceedings. The associate will collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality legal services primarily in insurance defense.
Qualifications
- JD and Tennessee Bar Association membership in good standing
- Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles effectively
- Proficiency in drafting and filing Motions and other legal documentation
- Ability to conduct detailed Research and analyze complex legal issues
- Experience participating in Depositions and related pre-trial proceedings
- Familiarity with court systems, procedures, and litigation processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in litigation or trial court settings is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-oriented environment
