As a Batch Maker, you will responsible for preparing, mixing, and blending raw materials to create garlic, onions and/or ginger solutions following the specific formulations, and guidelines to ensure product consistency and quality

• Measure, weigh and combine ingredients accordingly to specified formula.
• Ensure the accuracy of ingredient measurements and quantities.
• Operate equipment such as mixers, blenders and tanks to combine raw materials.
• Monitor the mixing and blending process to ensure proper consistency and quality of the product.
• Conduct tests to verify batch specifications.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in Parity by using the handheld to issue and unissue the raw materials as per work order.
• Support on inventory cycle count.
• Adjust formulas and processes as needed to meet product standards.
• Operate and maintain mixing machines, and other production equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment malfunction.
• Maintain detailed records of production processes including batch numbers, ingredients used and equipment settings.
• Communicate any issues related to raw materials, processes, or equipment to management.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• All employees will help keep a sanitary work environment.
• Comply with food safety, company policies and all good manufacturing practices. Such as (wearing hairnets, beard nets, ear plugs, green gloves, mask respirators, lab coats, aprons, no jewelry, no food in warehouse, no gum or candy, etc.)
• Report immediately all defects, violations, line/equipment malfunctions and issues to the line leader.
• Ensure that the work area is kept clean, organized and free of hazards.
• Clean up spills immediately and keep the area dry.
• Participate in area cleaning during assigned shift.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

 Requirements:

• Availability to work four days a ten to twelve (10 – 12) hours shifts or working five days eight to ten hours shifts from Monday to Fridays and overtime hours as needed. Availability of working on Saturdays as per the department schedule. 
• Knowledge of Parity software.
• Must be able to lift 30-pound boxes regularly.
• Must be able to work in Hot and Cold environments.
• Must be able to work in noisy areas.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Utilize knowledge and requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills that are necessary to work in a customer-focused working environment.

Abilities and Skills:

• General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and understand production instructions, and diagrams.

• Basic math skills for calculating production needs.
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently at manual tasks and machine operation in a food production environment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of production systems such as Red Zone and Parity.
