What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part -Time Server Wanted position at Spice Connexion?
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be able to quickly take customer orders, bring beverages and food to tables, and provide exceptional service.
Flexible Shift Timing:
- Early Shift: 11am to 2/3pm
- Late Shift : 3/4pm to 8/9pm
- Closed on Monday
Duties:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and specials
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Process payments using cash register or POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of POS system is a plus
- Strong food handling skills, including knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to prepare basic beverages
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tables simultaneously
- Proficient in using cash registers or POS systems for payment processing
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for bill totals and change
