Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation tasks.
- Manage customer transactions by processing cash, credit card, and retail sales transactions with precision.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following sanitation guidelines and ensuring all food handling procedures are properly followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, managing food service orders, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and restaurant operations.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing register operations.
- Experience in retail sales transactions or café environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen equipment operation.
