Duties
- Assist in guiding garments through different stages of cleaning, pressing, finishing, and packaging processes
- Coordinate with the dry cleaning team to ensure timely processing and cleaning of garments
- Inspect garments for damages or irregularities before and after processing, ensuring quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate cleaning detergents
- Handle manual lifting of heavy loads such as laundry baskets or garment bundles with proper technique
Qualifications
- Prior experience in dry cleaners environment, laundry services is highly desirable
- Knowledge of garment fabric care is a strong plus
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes, laundry operations, and garment care machinery
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper safety measures
- Strong attention to detail in inspecting garments and maintaining a clean workspace
- Ability to follow safety guidelines when operating pressing machines and handling cleaning chemicals
- Knowledge of WET CLEAN process a huge plus
