Job Description
Summary:
The Production Team Lead will be expected to achieve deadlines and production expectations with little supervision and assign work to the hourly production personnel to coordinate production activities. Responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating workflow through production stages such as Cutting, Sewing, Stuffing and Finishing, interface between production and engineering along with the Production Superintendent to maintain “On Time” deliveries.
This role reports to the Production Superintendent
Areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Manage workflow to ensure production schedule is maintained
- Evaluating each stage of the production process to maintain optimum efficiency
- Knows, understands, and facilitates a safe work culture, ensuring compliance with all company safety/environmental and housekeeping policies.
- Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for the manufacturing products.
- Communicates between the Fabrication Lead and Production Superintendent of any scheduling problems and resolves issues that may affect the planned priorities.
- Monitors employee performance to assure that quality and production standards are met and assists in completing performance reviews.
- Assures that employees are trained to adequately perform assigned tasks.
- Builds and maintains morale in the hourly Production workforce and maintains a good attitude with fellow workers and management to enhance morale.
Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of experience in removable insulation manufacturing, fabrication, sewing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual and dimensional defects.
- Basic proficiency with measurement tools and inspection equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. as required by the job.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production teams.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility environment with exposure to industrial materials, equipment, and moderate noise.
- Frequent standing, walking, and manual inspections throughout the shift.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required as per company policies.
Physical demands may include but are not limited to:
- Frequent standing, walking, and manual inspections throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. as required by the job.

Compensation Range
$13.00 - $30.00The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
