This role combines deep technical expertise in water resources with business development, project management, and leadership responsibilities, driving growth in digital service delivery and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in water resources, guiding digital integration and technical strategy across multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead technical delivery of reports, analyses, and recommendations while ensuring quality control and continuous improvement.
- Define project scopes and approaches, incorporating emerging and digital technologies to enhance outcomes.
- Oversee project delivery including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and coordination of internal teams and subconsultants.
- Translate complex technical concepts clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Drive business growth by identifying opportunities for digital innovation and leading proposal development and strategic pursuits.
- Cultivate strong client relationships to support retention, satisfaction, and long-term partnership opportunities.
- Engage in industry leadership through thought leadership, presentations, and professional organization participation.
- Mentor and develop staff, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented team culture.
- Ensure financial and operational performance, including project profitability, risk mitigation, and scope management.
- Collaborate across service areas to cross-market offerings and expand business with existing and new clients.
- Promote a culture of innovation and excellence, integrating new ideas and technologies into project and business practices.
- Master's degree and/or equivalent experience.
- 15 years, 5 years of PM experience.
- 3 years sales experience a must
- Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist, Professional Hydrologist, PM or other relevant Certification Preferred.
- Experience with scientific software, Microsoft Suite, Google Earth, Company Software (ERP, CRM, HRM etc.), GIS and programming where applicable.
