What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Assistant position at Spherion?
We're looking for a dynamic Sales Coordinator to serve as the critical anchor for our sales department and the main point of contact between our customers, Production, Purchasing, and Technical Support teams. In this role, you will do much more than handle day-to-day customer service, you will actively manage projects, streamline internal order workflows, and step up as the primary inside support for our Sales Leader. Compensation and Benefit
- sPay Rate: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour. (Starting pay is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's prior work experience, education, job-specific certifications, and technical skills)

Responsibilities Includ
- e:Strategic Sales Support: Partner directly with the Sales Manager to handle quoting, sample distribution, and client inquiries, exercising independent judgment and decision-making on critical sales matter
- s.Order & Workflow Quality Control: Review all incoming orders for structural accuracy (checking lead times, custom drawings, bill of materials, and payment terms) and audit Salesclerk data entry to eliminate processing error
- s.Interdepartmental Project Liaison: Coordinate daily with Production, Purchasing, and Technical Services to manage product lead times, address inventory shortages, expedite rush orders, and successfully push major projects over the finish lin
- e.Technical Mastery: Build a deep understanding of our custom netting products, hardware components, and general installation steps to accurately interpret drawings and create Bills of Materials (BOMs
