Job Overview
Our client in the Pensacola, FL area is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Designer / Engineer to support an 18-month project at a local industrial facility. This role involves assisting the plant with turnkey 480V motor control center (MCC) replacements.
This is a direct-hire position starting on Day 1, offering consistent weekly overtime and long-term potential for additional projects beyond the initial assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys of existing industrial electrical equipment.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications and draft CADD drawings.
- Collaborate directly with the site Owner to manage procurement and ensure timely delivery of 480V equipment.
- Coordinate scheduled installation of 480V motor control center equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Technical Expertise: Substantial knowledge and hands-on experience with 480-volt motor control systems and associated industrial electrical equipment.
- Drafting: Proficiency in CADD software for producing design drawings.
- Project Management Skills: Experience in procurement tracking, equipment scheduling, and field surveys.
- On-Site Availability: Ability to work full-time on-site at a local industrial facility on a 5x10 schedule (50 hours per week).
Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
