What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Finance And Accounting position at Spherion?
We are searching for a full time, direct hire Director of Finance in Johnstown to be responsible for Coordinating and directing financial activities of the organization.
You will report to the Vice President of Finance, and be responsible for fiscal records management and support the organization's business objectives, as well as ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
You will have
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration and four years of related experience. Masters Degree is a major plus
Leadership experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals,
professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public on all matters of a financial perspective.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,
commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, accounting software and payroll processing.
