What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Spherion?
We are in search of a full time, direct hire Controller in Philipsburg, PA to work with the location Plant Manager and global Controller to ensure company sustainability and growth.
In this role you will:
- Manage the finances in a manner that allows it to have the necessary funds to meet all obligations
- Report directly to the local Plant Manager on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, inventory analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.
Primary responsibility for all financial legal requirements as they pertain to facility
• Lead budget and forecast process
• Conduct profitability analysis of different business unit used for decision making, and investment
• Manage all financial resources according to groups overall directives
• Be responsible for P/L
Be responsible for cost benefit analysis
• Produce accurate and timely reporting, including financial statements, aging reports etc.
You will have:
• Active CPA or MBA Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in related field of study- Finance, Accounting, Business Management required
• At least 10 Years Manufacturing Experience, PM is a Plus
