About the Role: Business Development Leader
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
- Cultivate relationships with prospective clients in order to create new business opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of Spherion’s services to effectively align our solutions with client needs.
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to align sales strategies and solutions with the overall brand strategy.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit.
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world, especially as they relate to staffing and recruitment.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and industry meets to build business relationships and gather market intelligence.
Reporting Structure: This position will report directly to the VP of Marketing.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role in the staffing/recruiting industry must.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google tools, CRM software, and sales enablement tools.
- In-depth market knowledge and a keen interest in following industry trends.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Required Skills:
