General Job Description: Responsible for assembling electronic equipment. In this role you will be required to read and interpret instructions, assemble parts and use tools to fit electronic components.Duties and Responsibilities:Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.Utilize hand held tools such as a hand held screw and drill gun.Performing soldering.Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.Use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.Education, Training, and Experience:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Preferred.Minimum 4 years of experience in general assembly work and Hardware machines. PreferredWorking Conditions:Alternating between sitting and standing as necessary to complete tasks performed at variable bench levels ranging from 15 minutes to 2 hours.Required to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. for short distances. Required to push/pull a cart with supplies short distances with up to 15 lbs. of force.
