Job Description:

The Accounting Clerk plays a critical role in managing daily financial transactions, batch processing, and account reconciliations. This position ensures high accuracy across both AP and AR functions while resolving vendor or customer inquiries and supporting month-end close operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and validate daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable payment batches, print check runs across all divisions, and process credit card transactions.
• Set up new customer and vendor profiles in AP/AR systems, prepare journal entries, and resolve billing inaccuracies or discrepancies.
• Perform month-end closing tasks for AP and AR operations and assist in gathering documentation and records for external auditors.
• Collaborate with vendors, customers, internal departments, and external partners to resolve account issues and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Assist with tariff documentation, support broader accounting team needs, and cross-train to cover higher-level tasks as operational demands dictate.

Education: High School

Experience: 12 months

• 1–3 Years of Accounting or Bookkeeping Experience
• Hands-on AP/AR Batch Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & ERP Systems
• High Detail Orientation & Accuracy
