Senior TIG WELDER

A Premier Manufacturer is expanding headcount and looking for skilled TIG Welders/Fabricators to join a state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities:

• Perform high-precision TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel and aluminum components.
• Fit, align, and weld custom vacuum chambers, tanks, and pressure vessels ranging from 4" to 8' in diameter.
• Fabricate complex assemblies and weld pipe assemblies ranging from 1/8" to 36" according to engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Inspect welds and completed assemblies to meet strict quality and leak-testing standards.
• Maintain material flow and operate fabrication tools (e.g., rollers, ironworkers, mills, or lathes) as needed.

Working hours:

• 2:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Skills:

• Previous experience welding vacuum chambers, pressure vessels, or complex pipe assemblies.
• Familiarity with fabrication machinery such as rollers, ironworkers, mills, or lathes.
• Background in aerospace, pharmaceutical, or advanced technology manufacturing.

Education:

• High School

Experience:

• 4-7 years

Qualifications:
Experience: 5 years of dedicated TIG welding experience (GTAW) with stainless steel and aluminum in a manufacturing/fabrication setting.
Technical: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld prints.
Shift Availability: Must be able to work 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 12:30 AM).
Physical Demands: Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
PE Required: Steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
Compliance: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
