What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Clerk position at Spherion Staffing?
We are looking for an HR Clerk to join our team. HR Clerk have an essential role of mantaing records, preparing a variety of complex documents, and carrying out secretarial functions to support human resources procedures and policies.They also assist HR coordinators in the preparation, typing, and posting of job descriptions to advertise an opening.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire and maintaining updated employee records
- Provide orientations, training, and coaching
- Prepare and review recruiting activities: post, interviews, etc
- Implement and provide orientation plans
- Inform employees about additional benefits they’re eligible for (e.g. extra vacation days)
- Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
- Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
- Forecast hiring needs and ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly
- Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
- Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
- Updating and storing business files to ensure they are accurate and accessible for other employees
- Typing reports, letters and other business documents
- Sorting mail and responding to it or distributing it to appropriate employees
Skills
- Proven work experience in an office environment
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
- Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Team player skills
Requeriments
- 2> years of experience in HR Enviromnet
- HSD Required
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree Desires ( HR, Accounting, BA)
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
