Job Summary
Spherion Staffing is hiring an experienced Maintenance Make Ready Technician for an apartment complex in Wichita Falls, TX! Applicants MUST have a valid EPA Type 1 license, hands on HVAC knowledge, and proven apartment maintenance experience to be considered. Work schedule is full time Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, and must be able to be on call after hours including weekends 2 weeks at a time.
Duties
- Run service requests as they come in and provide attentive service to tenants
- Troubleshooting and repairing items in apartment units including appliance, plumbing, and electrical maintenance and change out appliances, cabinetry, etc.
- Troubleshoot HVAC units. Change out parts after troubleshooting or fully changing out an entire system.
- Doing make-readies: get units ready for new residents to move in.
- Drywall and sheetrock repairs, painting.
- Maintaining the grounds, cleaning the pool.
Skills
- Able to be physically active for duration of shift and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining operational efficiency.
- Communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of general facilities maintenance practices.
Requirements
- Must have professional Make Ready experience with apartment complexes
- Must have hands-on HVAC experience, installing, troubleshooting and repairing AC units
- EPA Type 1 certification to handle freon required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
