IT NETWORK SPECIALIST

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Network Specialist to join a growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting an organization's network infrastructure. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Computer Troubleshooting: Hardware and Software troubleshooting

Network Troubleshooting: Understanding of basic network concepts such as DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP. Able to isolate and correct issues on diverse networks.

Customer Communication: Ability to speak directly with customers and take information gathered and distill it into further troubleshooting or solutions.

Familiarity with Office Suite: Should be able to use at least Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Documentation: Experience with documenting solutions and PSA software. Ability to take actions that were implemented and document them in a PSA and identify any information that might have future use and adding that to a documentation/KB platform.

Familiarity with antivirus platforms: Ability to use antivirus software and analyze potential threats. SIEM and SOC knowledge is also preferred.

Scripting: Knowledge of scripting mainly for Windows based PCs. Powershell and batch scripts.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

3 years of experience in network administration or support.

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and switching.

Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment.

Proficiency in firewall configuration and network security tools.

Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux network environments.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
