Job Title: Electronic TechnicianHourly Rate: $33-38, depending on experienceDuration: T-P (6 months)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm (with 30-minute lunch break)Job Summary:We're looking for an Electronic Technician with a strong ability to read basic schematics and wiring diagrams and extensive experience with soldering surface mount components onto boards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of specific components (capacitors, resistors, diodes, etc.), excellent diagnostic skills, and be able to hit the ground running with minimal training. This role involves a progression from cable assembly to working on complex electronic units, troubleshooting, and quality inspections.We need an Electrical Technician who understands electrical wiring and can navigate schematics with ease. The ability to identify components like capacitors, resistors, and diodes is crucial. Hands-on experience soldering surface mount components onto boards and installing electronic components confidently is required. Responsibilities:· Repair, Troubleshoot issues on PCB Board Level· Start by assembling cables and progress to working on complex electronic units as experience grows· Perform quality inspections on assembled and repaired units· Assist in troubleshooting and repairing returned units· Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to all safety protocols· Report any safety concerns, irregularities, or injuries to supervisors immediately· Collaborate with the team to complete department-related tasks as neededRequirements:· 5 years of experience with soldering surface mount components onto boards· PCB Board Experience· Experience or comfortable working with High Voltage· Solid diagnostic/troubleshooting skills· Strong ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams· Will initially being doing cable wiring· Deep understanding of specific electrical/electronic components (capacitors, resistors, diodes, etc.)· Prior cable assembly experience (e.g. using multi-pin conductors)· Reliable attendance and punctuality· Excellent oral communication skills· Experience with electrical/electronic components· Prior experience with cable assembly (multi-pin conductors)· Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted, and over 50 pounds with assistancePreferred Qualifications:· Associate's degree in Electronics or related fieldCompany DescriptionWe're a national recruiting and staffing enterprise that blends the resources of the world's largest talent company with the local insights of our independent franchise owners.
