Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines and/or CNC lathes to manufacture complex precision components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate machining.
- Complete full machine setups, including tooling selection, fixture installation, work offsets, and first-article inspections.
- Edit CNC programs and optimize cutting parameters, tooling, feeds, and speeds to improve efficiency and quality.
- Machine a wide range of materials, including difficult-to-machine alloys, while consistently holding tight tolerances.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify compliance with engineering requirements.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, dimensional, and quality issues with minimal supervision.
- Support both prototype, low-volume, and production manufacturing projects.
- Maintain strict quality and documentation standards required for precision and government-related manufacturing.
