We are looking for a powerhouse accounting leader to oversee operations, from building out SOPs to navigating the intricacies of ASC 606 and DCAA compliance. What You’ll Do
- Architect the Close: Lead the month-end process, ensuring GAAP compliance and audit-readiness at every turn.
- Master the Technicals: Manage ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases) within a complex, project-based environment.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee AP, AR, Payroll, and Cost Accounting, while implementing the structure (SOPs, checklists) needed to scale.
- Strategic Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, investors, and internal stakeholders to drive transparency and accuracy.
What You Bring
- Credentials: Active CPA license and a Bachelor’s in Accounting.
- Experience: 5-10 years in progressive accounting, with at least 2 years in management.
- Industry Edge: Direct experience in Aerospace, Defense, or Government contracting (DCAA/Cost Pools knowledge is a major plus).
- Tech Savvy: Advanced Excel skills and deep ERP experience.
